1 About The Shoppe
1.1 Who are you People?

We are just two people who were railroaded into starting a store because our rescued German Shepherd, Ranger, didn't want to eat anything when we first got him home. 

So now we do this. 

1.2 Who's Ranger?

Ranger, also known as Handsome, Prince Jackass, Lex Luthor, and so many other names I can't list, is a German Shepherd Dog that we rescued after we lost our other two GSDs.  He is the "inspiration" for Pupcakes and Pawstries and our main tester when it comes to carrying products. 


1.3 Who's Tucker?

Tucker, also known as Wobble Butt, the Puppy, The Little Guy, etc, is a rescued Redbone Coonhoound that we were "conned" into bringing home 2 years after we got Ranger (Ranger did not agree with the arrangement)

He's a loon. 

1.4 Where are you?

Our Shoppe is located in the Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater on the Somerville Circle.  The physical address is 337 US Highway 202/206 Bridgewater, NJ 08807

We share space with a great set of stores including Barnes and Noble, EMS, and many great local businesses.

2 The Barkery
2.1 Do You Ship your homemade Barkery Items?

Right now we don't.  Since they are baked fresh we haven't figured out a good way to ship them all over the world yet.  But we are working on it.

2.2 What ingredients do you use?

We locally source as much of our meat as we can.  The rest of the ingredients you can see here.

Everything we use to bake for your doggies we use to bake for ourselves.

3 Payments
3.1 How do you process my credit card transactions?

We use Lightspeed Payments for our Credit Card Processor. 

3.2 How do you protect my credit card information?

The information you submit on our site is not saved anywhere on our servers. We don’t retain your credit card information. We have entered into an agreement where your information goes through our merchant service provider Lightspeed Payments to the payment card networks for processing. 

4 Returns
4.1 What is your Return Policy for Non Food Items

You can return non food items to the store with a Return Authorization form.  Contact us within 15 days of receiving your package and we can set up a return for you.  All items must be returned with the original packaging and tags and must be in resalable condition. 

4.2 What is your policy for Returning Food Items

The majority of our companies will take back food and treats if your doggie was not satisfied with it. If you would like to return a food item please request a Return Authorization form and we'll get back in touch with you as soon as possible.

5 Shipping
5.1 Shipping Costs

As you can see when you checkout you have the option to choose your method of shipping.  The costs are calculated at check out. We exclusively use the United States Postal Service for shipping. 

We charge you exactly the same thing we are charged for shipping.  So if we get a discount, you get a discount.

5.2 Shipping Times

For In Stock items

We will try to get things packed and shipped that same day they are ordered.  Sometimes that might not happen like if orders were place after 3pm.  Those will go out the next day.

With in store pick ups we will have orders ready within the hour except when they are placed after 6pm.  Those will be ready the next day.

For Back Ordered Items

Items that are not in stock and backordered will usually ship out with in the week of the order.  Depending on if our suppliers have them in stock and we get them in our weekly delivery.  Some items are shipped to us and they may take a bit longer.  We will keep you posted as to when we expect shipping your order out.

6.3 Where do you deliver to?

Right now we are focusing on Somerset County, Morris County, Hunterdon County, and Warren County.  It is based on Zip Code so if you shipping address has a zip code that matched our list for Local Delivery it will show up in the shipping methods.

If you live in a town in one of those counties but it doesn't show up, send us an email with your zip code and we'll add it.  We might have missed it when we did the Zip Code list.

6.4 Who does the Deliveries?

This isn't an Uber for dog food.  Right now your order will be delivered by the owner in his Jeep.  As we grow it will be our trucks with our employees. 

6.5 Why an order minimum of $30?

It used to be $50 but with the pandemic happening we made it easier for everyone to order and get delivery so we decreased it to a $30 minimum order.

We would love to be able to hop in the Jeep and drop off a bag of your favorite dogs treats but it just wouldn't be feasible. So $30 is a good place to start.  It is approximately one medium sized bag of food really when you think about it. 

But you have to remember that its FREE! And no hassle to you , Just order online before 5pm and it's there the same day. (Except for Sundays)

6.6 Do you have an App?

Right now we don't but we are looking into it.  We want to make it really easy for local customers to get food and treats for their dogs.  But it is really easy to order form this site.  Try it.
